My First Swarm Call

Post by donwal »

Received a call about a swarm in a holly tree on Thursday. I was not able to go bet them until yesterday. Between the rain showers, was able to get them in a eight frame hive body. Left them overnight and picked them up early this morning. Set the hive up in the beeyard and let the fly. They oriented quickly and were bring in pollen this afternoon.

Congrats on capturing your first swarm.
Today was not my first swarm capture but the thrill is still there like it was the first.
May you catch many more and may they all be from someone else's hives.
Just some thoughts.
