Is it possible to overwinter an 8 frame single deep in this area?

Anything is possible, but it is not likely.

I agree with Wally, but there is too little information to try and evaluate options. If you want to give me a call at 336 740-1703, we can discuss some possible paths forward.

Thanks for the responses. I have another hive I can pull resources from if need be.

It's been a Monday on Tuesday. I'll call tomorrow. Thanks Reed

I overwintered three single 8 frame deep hives this past winter. Gave the hives a sugar block and pollen patty for food stores through the winter. Pulled 8 frames of honey from one of hives in June. It is now in a single deep and two mediums. The second one is in a deep and medium. Lost the third hive due to queen failure, due to my error. I plan on trying to over winter three 8 fame single deep hives this year.
