No room in freezer for honey stores. . .

Post by DuaneB »

We only have a medium sized freezer, and it mostly full of people food. So, my question is, can I store frames of honey in deep boxes (frames are deeps) with Paramoth, as you would store frames to keep Wax moths out? The boxes will be all tapped up. Telescoping lids on top and bottom?

Thanks,
Duane

I put the frozen frames in black plastic trash bags and tape all cracks. The honey stays good and no moths or beetles have ever gotten in. Just be sure they have been frozen for 4 days or more just before putting in bags.
