PO Bees

Beth received a call yesterday (4/21/20) from a friend saying there was a large swarm of bees blocking patrons from using the outside mail boxes at Friendly Center. She texted me to come help then hurried over to assess the situation and found another beek named Betsy who just happened to be there on postal business. When I arrived they were doing their best to corral what was left of the swarm into a cardboard box. The three of us managed to get them into a hive box. I moved them to our apiary, put on a boardman feeder, added an IPM board and closed the entrance for the night. We will check them later today to see if they survived the night. HAPPY EARTH DAY...we have to SAVE the BEES, y'all!
