I got a call late yesterday afternoon, just before brief showers passed through our area. I collected a 3+ pound swarm, conveniently clustered on a small, low branch of a tree. I called Stadiem and he agreed to provide housing for them, so I delivered a bucket of bees. The day before yesterday, Ski's neighbor called about a swarm on the ground in her yard. Jack Fleming went to retrieve it. Yesterday one of our members called about a swarm on the ground in her yard. It is now in a nuc. Swarm activity seems to be picking back up with warming weather.
