This Sat. Aug 25 is Preserving our Heritage Day at Cedarock Park in Southern Alamance County just off HWY 49 south.
Alamance County Beekeepers will have a beekeeping section set up that will include a bee cage where a beekeeper can be inside inspecting a hive of bees and showing to the visitors outside.
This is a fun day at the park with all kinds of old time exhibits and vendors including a bluegrass band, blacksmith at work, checker playing, beekeeping and good food. All are invited to come on down if you can and beekeepers may be invited to take your turn in the cage.
Hours are around 9 til 4
The public is invited and admission is free.
