Swarm at the Cardinal

Lucky me, being in the right place at the right time with Rob Jacobs! He came out to inspect my hive and confirmed my suspicion that I had a hive with laying workers. Just as we were reassembling the hive and closing up, he received a call about a swarm that had settled low in the front yard of some nice folks at The Cardinal. We rushed over in time to collect a nice colony of bees that are now settled in nicely at Elam Gardens alongside my other hive and one belonging to Beth Shaver (another GCBA club member). Thanks again, Rob, you're such a great asset to our club!
