I got a call from a gentleman at Dudley High School yesterday afternoon about bees coming out of a tree and landing on a bush near the ground. He had called a few beekeepers on the list and I gave him 3 more names. His regular bee rescuer from our list was unavailable and the others either couldn't come or did not answer. At that point, I told him I would come and get the bees. They were near a path where students walked and he was afraid the school would spray the bees if not retrieved quickly. This looked like about a 4lb swarm to me.
