Are we headed into the derth already? My bees, as a whole, are more defensive than they had been. I get the washboarding during the overcast days, but still. . .

I'm not an expert in this yet, but I would say that I'm seeing sumac and clover still blooming, and my bees (at least today now that the sun is back out) are purposeful and actively bringing in "something".

Yes, they are wash-boarding. And no, I don't have hive weights or anything to back it up. But I'm still going to wait a week or so before thinking about pulling any supers...
