Hi everyone!
Wow, the bees that made it through the winter well are really exploding.
I have made 6 splits so far and hope not to make many more. Have found some queen cups and some queen cells. Guess for the next couple of weeks, it will be a real struggle to keep the bees in their hives. Hoping for an early honey flow to keep them busy.
How are everyone elses bees building up?
Kurt

No splits, but one of mine swarmed yesterday and headed toward Julian. Keep an eye open for them.
I caught a swarm in Greensboro yesterday, and two in Sophia today. I would think swarm season is here full bore.

You must have some good sources to be getting so many swarm calls.

Hi, Guest...Sign up and join us. We need all the participation we can get. And Welcome. Kurt inadvertantly gave me the one in Greensboro.
Kurt, The house that needed the scaffold sent me a swarm to the ground. I must be living right.
