Yard Grugs and Moles

Post by Ron Young »

I have a problem with yard grubs and thus, a problem with moles and or voles. I would like to get rid of the moles, but I am reluctant to use the triazacide to kill off the grubs. I am afraid of the bees getting into the fine particles and thus killing off my bees.

Any advice. It is supposed to rain in the early part of tomarrow, and I thought if I put it out while it was raining, then it would desolve, and go into the ground before the bees could get into it while foraging on clover, and yes, yard weeds such as chic weed.

Ron,
I have used "Milky Spore" to treat for grubs. It is a biological product that infects the grubs but does not affect the bees. The downside here is that the treatment will not be effective until next season.
