Going to get into the hive this afternoon to see how things are and possibly add the tar paper back on since nasty cold weather is coming back this week
I did see some like activity yesterday afternoon going in and out of the hive, which is a good sign :D

I read on another board today that a man had 7 hives and lost all of them when he was able to do a hive inspection this weekend, and others saying the same thing
Man this is what I went though last year.... I hate it for everyone an worried about mine at the same time

With the sub degree weather we were getting I went ahead and put tar paper around mine, I went out today and they were out doing a cleansing flight I guess. I took the tar paper off today and did a quick check and all OK. I have been feeding the sugar bricks to help supplement the food source since ...

I've stood and sat down off to the side front about 4' from the entrance for an hour a couple of different days and only had 1 do a fly by then flew off guess it was just checking me out. The girls made the trip home nicely Saturday night and I checked yesterday but with the cold and wind all I saw were about 4 or 6 checking the the outside. I was able to go outside and sit and watch for about 30 minutes after work today then ate supper then went out again and sat until 7:30 watching...
